We’ve been working on a very special set of pieces, to be added to our stoneware collection for Christmas this year.

The workshop in Cambodia where our beloved stoneware collection is created, was founded a few years ago by a passionate japanese lady called Yuko.

She brought her skill and knowledge and shared this with the talented Cambodian artisans with whom we work today.

Yuko sadly passed away in 2015, but her methods, techniques and artistry, lovingly taught, still live on today through the amazing work produced by Sovann and his team.

This christmas tree sculpture is based on a design created by Yuko herself and has been reissued in tribute, in the snowy white glaze which we use for our collections.

Each tree is hand moulded from clay, the pattern cut and then left to be sun-dried for several days.

This is then biscuit fired and finally hand glazed before being kiln fired at high temperature.

The collection includes four sizes which can be a beautiful and festive centrepiece for a dinner table, mantelpiece or simply to give a Christmas feel to any room.

Our Yuko Christmas Trees will be available to order from our website in October.
