A medium-sized coffee mug that pairs a soft white glaze with the warm colour of exposed clay. The polka dots and unglazed foot keep the material visible against the white surface. It stacks with coffee mugs of the same size, leaving more room on the shelf.

THE WAY IT'S MADE SHAPES WHAT YOU SEE

Each mug is made entirely by hand using traditional pottery techniques. After glazing, the artisan patiently removes small circles of glaze, one at a time, to reveal the clay beneath.

The dots are not painted on: their colour comes from the exposed clay itself. Together with the unglazed foot ring, they create a contrast in colour and texture against the glazed surface.
